This is so interesting. I noticed a definite change when I moved from Manhattan to Brooklyn, almost 7 years ago now. I see more similarities among the younger people now but you can always tell a millennial Brooklynite from a Manhattanite.
Thank you, KJ. Having lived in both places as well, I see exactly what you mean. New York has such diverse styles, even just within Brooklyn and Manhattan. And, we are, in turn, so influenced by the neighborhoods we live in.
I would have loved reading the right bank’s style in comparison to the left :)
